In 1996 he participated on both the Afro Cuban All Stars and Buena Vista Social Club albums and is featured on Ibrahim Ferrer’s hugely successful debut solo album. Barbaríto has also toured the world extensivly the last 20 years with Omara Portuondo and The Buena Vista Social Club

Yuniel Jimenez “El Guajiro” (The Country Boy) is a singer-songwriter and a master tres player who came from Santa Clara, Cuba to New York City. He brought with him not only his tres-guitar but a piece of the countryside of Cuba to the Big Apple. In 2012, he described his experiences in a single ¨Un Guajiro en Nueva York¨ which was also the title of his first album. The 12 track album depicts various life situations inside and outside of Cuba through the eyes of the Cuban singer-songwriter. In 2015, his second CD, called ¨Hay Gente Pa’ To’….¨ was released. This is an album that has been enjoyed by a more diverse public. In 2017, ¨La Malicia¨ and ¨Hay Gente Pa´ To´ won the hearts of people of Medellin, Colombia and were voted #1 songs for six consecutive weeks in Latinastereo Radio Station. The genuine lyrics and unique sound of the Cuban Tres in that album will enchant any language speaker and certainly make a music listener dance!

With the famous cuban band “Afrocuba” he played several times at Ronnie Scott jazz club in London. At present he is a professor at the Superior Art Institute in Havana.

Born in Havana, Cuba, David Oquendo is a world renown musician. In Cuba, he rose to fame playing for the late Compay Segundo, one of the vocalists featured in the Buena Vista Social Club. Mr. Oquendo has a Grammy award for the album “Tropicana’s Nights” with Paquito D’Rivera and two Grammy nominations for “Heart of Legend” with Chico O’Farrill and “Bebop Timba” with Raphael Cruz. Since moving to the United States, he founded the Latin Grammy-nominated folkloric group, Raices Habaneras and has worked with many top artists including Marc Anthony, Johnny Pacheco, and Israel “Cachao” Lopez.

Andrés Coayo (percussion) Percussionist Andrés Coayo adopts a subtle touch that has turned him into one of the most sought after musicians among his country’s musical circles. Coayo joined Omara Portuondo’s group in 2003 having been a member of Roberto Faz’s orchestra, the Conjunto Casino, Yumurí y Hermanos, the group Mezcla and the band of the salsa star Isaac Delgado, with whom he recorded the album Versos en el Cielo. Since then he has never been apart from the singer, who he has accompanied on stages the world over, earning him praise in international reviews. As a studio artist, the pianist has contributed to countless projects, many of which are part of the Buena Vista Social ClubTM series.
